NMR Lab Policies
Be sure to remove any gloves or coat used in the lab prior to entering the NMR room
The user should clean their hands before the use for the NMR instrument
Eating/drinking should be avoided in the NMR room
The NMR sample should be prepared elsewhere
Do not use solvents, chemicals, etc in the NMR room
Do not leave your samples in the NMR room
You must sign the log book after your experiments are completed. Any problems associated with the NMR machine should be noted in the log book
On the rare event that the NMR tube breaks while inserting the sample into the magnet, it is the responsibility of the user to immediately inform the Director of the NMR facility either via phone (304 293 34 35 ext 6439) or stopping by at the office (#406, Clark Hall).
